WiseWay Plumbing Gives Back to Happy Hats for Kids in Hospitals

At WiseWay Plumbing, being part of the South Bay community means more than providing dependable plumbing services. It also means looking for opportunities to use our skills to support organizations doing meaningful work for local families.

Recently, WiseWay Plumbing was proud to donate $500 in plumbing services to Happy Hats for Kids in Hospitals, a Torrance-based nonprofit dedicated to bringing smiles, comfort, and encouragement to children receiving hospital care.

Supporting a Torrance Nonprofit With a Big Heart

Happy Hats for Kids in Hospitals has been helping hospitalized children and their families since 1991. Through programs such as its Hero Club Program and Happy Hat Holiday Program, the organization provides children with colorful Happy Hats, activity books, and special gift packages designed to bring a little fun and positivity to what can otherwise be a difficult experience.

When the organization needed plumbing work, WiseWay Plumbing had an opportunity to help in a way we know best: by donating our time and professional plumbing services.

Following the work, Happy Hats sent a heartfelt letter to WiseWay Plumbing owner Eric, thanking the company for the donated services and for supporting its mission.

Helping the Organizations That Help Our Community

Local nonprofits put tremendous effort into serving others, and maintaining their facilities is one of the many behind-the-scenes responsibilities that make their work possible. By donating plumbing services, our team was able to take care of something within our expertise while allowing Happy Hats for Kids in Hospitals to keep its attention and resources focused on its mission.

For WiseWay Plumbing, that is what community involvement is all about. We live and work in the communities we serve, and we’re grateful when we have the opportunity to lend a hand to organizations making a difference right here in the South Bay.
